Export Suppliers - Feed in to the Grid
Renewable energy generated from wind turbines, solar panels, hydro and anaerobic digesters currently generate over 9% of the UK’s energy mix – a figure which has doubled over the last five years and equates to enough energy to power 8.4 million homes.
Home Electricity Storage Systems and Electric Vehicles (EVs) have the ability to store electricity, either generated from these local renewable energy sources or charged from the Grid during low tariff periods of the day.
Our Export Supplier Service is designed to support this requirement and allows efficient retrieval of Export volumes from the meter.

The Smart Pear solution will integrate with your existing systems to retrieve up to the previous 13 months of consumer data.
Smart Home & Appliances
Allows you to efficiently join Smart Home appliances (Consumer Access Devices) to the consumer’s Smart Meter network and communicate with those devices via the DCC or through local solutions. For example home display units, smart fridges and smart energy saving devices.

Allows providers of Consumer Access Devices to join and unjoin CADs to the consumer’s Smart Meter network and communicate with those devices via the DCC or through local solutions.
Energy Data Management and Energy Efficiency Service Providers
A solution that allows you, acting as an Energy Services Provider or similar, to retrieve Smart Meter consumption and tariff data in order to manage a customer’s energy tariffs and usage as well as joining energy efficiency Devices (CAD) to the customer’s Smart Energy network and provide communication via the DCC or through local solutions.
Meter Manufacturers
Allows Meter Manufacturers to batch subscribe for Organisation and Device Certificates
Allows communication via the DCC with installed and operational Smart Meters for the efficient reading of firmware version, diagnostics, maintenance and evaluation, prior to physical inspection or replacement of a Smart Meter.

Allows innovative solutions to enable passive and unobtrusive monitoring of Smart Meters, allowing social care agents and organisations, or individuals caring for vulnerable people, the ability to analyse energy consumption on their Smart Meter for detecting out of pattern usage e.g. very low consumption over a period of time, excess usage in the night.

Allowing energy, academic and research projects to gather essential read data from Smart Meters via the DCC at a scale and frequency determined by the research project requirements.
Community Energy & Renewables
Enabling community energy enterprises to manage their customers energy usage patterns and help to drive energy efficiency savings through accurate and up to date analysis of their consumption data and tariffs via the DCC and the customer’s Smart Meter. The solution also allows for reading of micro generation data and how much energy is being exported to the grid thus leveraging commercial efficiencies.
This solution also provides a mechanism for P2P trading of locally generated energy e.g. solar panel micro generation by allowing access to the necessary data held on the customer’s Smart Meter via the DCC.
Meter Asset Providers (MAPs)
Allows MAPs to batch subscribe for Organisation and Device Certificates
Allows onward interrogation of the location (site) and status of your Smart Meter assets by querying the DCC systems.
